The Tekke of Hala Sultan/Umm Haram is the chief Muslim shrine on the island and is one of the most important visiting sites for Muslims. Ladies section upstairs. Located near the salt lakes, this masjid has been restored and is open to the public between 8am and 5pm. No. 13 on map.
Lefkosia - Bayraktar Masjid![]() Bayraktar Masjid, Lefkosia
Bayraktar Masjid in Lefkosia. Open 6 days a week from 11 am to Asr and from Maghrib to Isha. On Sundays the side entrance is open for individuals wishing to pray. This is the only masjid in Lefkosia that has regular lectures and Zikhr on Thursday nights after Isha. See No. 36 on the map.
Lemesos - Cami Kebir![]() Cami Kebir, Lemesos
Located in the old town, this masjid (also known as The Great Mosque) is in use every day. It has a ladies room to the side of the main entrance. There is also Cami Cedid Masjid (open for Friday Jumu'ah prayers) and Arnaut Mesjid (closed) on the map.

Open for use every day and located in the walled city of Lefkosia, this masjid has a ladies room to the side of the main entrance. No. 138/62 on the map.
Pafos - The Great Masjid![]() Cami Kebir, Pafos
Located in Pafos, this masjid is newly renovated but not open. No. 35 on map. There is also Lower Pafos Masjid (open daily), Kato Pafos in the car park at the end of bar street and near No. 48 on the map.
